As a Bureau Specialist, all you need is:

  • Logical / analytical thinking skills
  • Strong telephone communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Effective and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer literate (MS Office/365) with a focus on attention to detail
  • Previous experience working on Excel

Energy / Utilities experience would be highly beneficial, however this is not essential as full training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities:

This is a client-centric role which is very rewarding for those who enjoy building and maintaining strong relationships, working with your clients closely, becoming fully integrated on their accounts.
Using your analytical skills, you’ll have the opportunity to work on bespoke customer reports that will deliver key insights
You’ll be responsible for the administration, analytical and general day-to-day functions, with a focus on delivering client-focused tasks while assisting your designated Consultant and the Bureau Manager with their duties.

You’ll be in charge of timely and accurate completion of invoice validation and regular production of reports, ensuring that processes are refined and adhered to. Common tasks include:

  • Reviewing client estates monthly for accuracy - check for any additions / deletions
  • Processing all additions, closures and deletions (change of tenancies) in a timely manner
  • Updating internal systems with accurate information / data to maintain accuracy
  • Validating clients ‘cost of gas’ and ‘cost of power’ against reports from suppliers
  • Ensuring billed rates, metering charges, transportation charges and other charges are validated
  • Daily updating and issuing of clients’ reports, in accordance with SLA’s
  • Payment files issued (weekly) on the agreed day
  • Managing any internal, client, supplier and third party queries through to completion
  • Maintaining query logs in the agreed format
  • Managing the client’s mailbox within the agreed SLA’s
  • Managing disconnection notices within the agreed SLA’s
  • Carrying out PayCheck historic bill validation on an ad-hoc basis
