Responsibilities:
- Putting equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping into the bus
- Folding and unfolding mobility aids
- Staying with residents to allow staff to attend to other’s needs
- engaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in the outing (e.g. accompanying a resident as they shop)
- Aiding residents with simple mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)
- Share with the Activities Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift, a list of residents you have spoken to and information on topics discussed
- Deliver a high level of customer services, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents/clients and internal customers
- Drive in accordance with road and safety requirements maintaining due care at all time
