Description:

£40,000 - £65,000 + Yearly Bonus + Hybrid Working: Depending on experience. This is a key position within our business; we are looking for the right individual to help grow our Digital capability within the i3Works business.

OVERVIEW

Within i3Works is our i3D division. Our i3D teams specialise in Digital Services, Architecture, and Service Management. We deliver measurable value for clients across defence, private and public sector environments. We have an extensive range of service capabilities and expertise provided by our best-in-class team which we are seeking to expand.

CORE SKILLS:

  • Demonstratable experience as a Business Analyst
  • Agile working - able to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. Helps the team to decide the best approach.
  • Able to help teams manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work and work to agreed minimum viable product (MVP), print and scope.
  • Investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing services. Provides recommendations for solutions. Works with stakeholders to identify objectives, opportunities, and potential benefits available.
  • Responsible for elicitation of requirements. Facilitates setting of business priorities for change initiatives of medium complexity. Manages and implements requests for changes to baseline requirements.
  • Ability to analyse current processes and identify and implement opportunities to optimise them. Helps to evaluate and establish requirements using relevant techniques such as gap analysis.
  • Ability to apply a digital understanding to their work. Can identify and implement solutions for assisted digital.
  • Has awareness of innovation and can apply this to their work.
  • The suitable candidate already holds or will be expected to achieve Security Clearance

Responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst (BA) your core purpose will be to act as the bridge between the business and the technical. You will be supported by a growing and diverse digital team, directly contributing to our goals with your analytical skillset. You will work with clients to clarify ambiguity, resolve issues, and use data driven decision making to lead clients through digital service development lifecycle.
Experienced in a variety of elicitation methods and can advise your team on the appropriate use of each method depending on the stakeholder and scenario. You will be allowed to continue to grow your skills and capabilities as well as manage relationships with senior stakeholders as you progress to becoming a leading figure within the BA community.
As a Business Analyst, you will be expected to use judgment and a high degree of creativity when faced with complex and varied issues in circumstances where guidance and precedent may not be available. You will use high levels of interpersonal skills to consult with other grades, including more senior managers, to solve issues. You will be expected to make decisions relating to the most effective business modelling required in the circumstances.
