About the role:
Are you a dynamic and results-driven professional ready to make an impact? At AGL, we are dedicated to delivering a superior customer experience by leveraging cutting-edge technology and data-driven solutions. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our Value Stream delivery team, driving the end-to-end planning, prioritization, and development of our Customer Engagement Engine (CEE).
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will streamline processes, lead initiatives, and ensure seamless customer interactions that improve both commercial and customer outcomes. This is your chance to contribute to our customer-centric mission and lead meaningful conversations with our customers at scale.
What you will be doing:
- Engage with stakeholders, campaign owners, and delivery squads to implement customer communication changes efficiently and effectively.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to define objectives, elicit requirements, and identify impacts of initiatives.
- Manage the end-to-end analysis and shaping of campaigns, ensuring process integrity across systems and business units.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver minimum viable products that balance functionality, user experience, and architecture.
- Act as the scrum master, leading team rituals such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and kick-offs to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and maintain high-quality lean documentation for all delivered functionality.
What we would like to see you bring:
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role, working in a delivery-focused environment alongside Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Developers, and Testers.
- Strong ability to analyze complex requirements and translate technical capabilities into business language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with PEGA, Adobe, or similar platforms; utilities and marketing delivery experience is highly desirable.
At AGL, we offer a wide range of benefits including:
- Flexible working options including hybrid work.
- Discounts on energy, telcos and solar plans.
- Participate in Energise - our reward & recognition program.
- Access 20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary carer.
- Access to an additional week of recharge leave per year.
- Play an active role in our diversity & inclusion initiatives.
- Novated leasing and Electric Vehicle subscriptions.
- Access to study assistance, AGL’s share purchase plan and insurance deals.
- Benefits may change over time and vary based on role type and location.
