Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Senior Business Analyst in our Tech-Personal domain, you’ll play a key role in helping to support and deliver solutions through the SDLC and Agile methodology. This role is responsible for liaising with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.

As a Business Analyst, in our Tech-Personal Business Analysis Practice and witin the Ngā Tapuwae Integrations workstream you are accountable for:
Elicit and document technical requirements – utilising JIRA and Confluence
Deep engagement in understanding the technical/system aspects to solve the business needs and problems, then translating them into technical specifications.
Develop, manage and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders across Technology and Business.
Actively identifying and raising technology and operational risks, issues and potential impact within the organisation, team or program.
Actively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement/s and implementation of solution/s to work more effectively and efficiently.
Actively facilitating and participating in tasks and/or actions which improve timeliness, reduce costs or enhance quality of delivery.

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience of working within Technology and Integration teams.
Problem solver, critical thinker, agile thinker, Scrum/Agile ways of working
Proven experience in a range of elicitation techniques
Good communicator both written, verbal and visual to ensure shared clarity on outcomes
Understand, accept and support the need for change and adapt your own behaviours to changing circumstances and constructively provide input/s.
In depth knowledge of software development principles and practices.
Knowledge of Microservices/APIS is beneficial.
2-3 years experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Business Analysis, Digital Delivery, Data Analysis, Business Process re-engineering.
