As the Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping data management projects for AstraZeneca Oncology Business Unit. You will conduct business analysis and design, collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality business requirements, and process designs. You will partner with Data Management to ensure proposed solutions meet AstraZeneca’s standards and address business needs.
This position demands strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to bridge the gap between data, technology, and business value. You will leverage your expertise in IT, requirements gathering, and influence to drive transformative projects and reshape data management support. You will work closely with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize backlogs, fostering collaboration and innovation. Though the Business Analyst is not directly involved in the deployment of the final IT solution, he/she is actively involved in consolidating of new business requirements and communicating them with the development team.
This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to identify opportunities for enhancement and influence within data management. S/he may have additional responsibilities in the Data Management area based on capacity and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required
• Minimum of 3 years documenting business requirements and developing and communicating arguments, experience working with JIRA and Agile methodologies
• Experience of working in a global organization with complex/geographical context
• Ability to drive results in white space and articulate clearly in a concise manner.
• Experience of working with complex integrated systems, using creative and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results.
• Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions.
• Experience of working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors
• High standard of written and spoken English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience of effectively deploying business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change.
• Practical usage of Agile Methodology, including assembling requirements as user stories.
• Experience of working with sophisticated coordinated systems, using creative and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results.
• Experience of working in a regulated environment
• Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions.
• Experience of working with and handling third party suppliers/vendors/startup’s
