For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.
Unit HR.04 – HR Digital Solutions is responsible for driving digital innovation and transforming the HR services and processes managed by DG HR. This is achieved through various development programs and projects, with the corporate HR IT systems, particularly SYSPER, being the most significant. The unit provides a comprehensive perspective for DG HR across these systems and coordinates the implementation of the Digital Solutions Strategy within the DG, working closely with the broader HR family. In this role, the unit leads the HR Digital Transformation program, aiming to revamp the Commission’s and its partners’ HR IT landscape.
Below are the details of your role and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate how various EU organizations implement HR processes, principles, and practices to ensure a unified and consistent use of the HR IT platform and related systems, while documenting any remaining differences.
  • Help develop the service management strategy (transition to service) for the ongoing HR IT transformation program.
  • Demonstrate service management practices, processes, and associated documentation.
  • Identify feasible business solutions, convert them into technical specifications, and support their technical implementation.
  • Use suitable tools to monitor differences in implementation and configuration during the adoption of the HR IT platform, including SYSPER (the legacy HR solution).
  • Define use cases, test configurations, and evaluate proposed solutions in different technical environments.
  • Create and deliver business-focused documentation, training, and coaching sessions to ensure successful adoption and usage of the HR IT platform.
  • Analyze business processes, particularly in support areas, and recommend automation or simplification options aligned with the digital solution’s capabilities and standards.
  • Provide second-level support for business and functional queries from interinstitutional partners.
  • Initiate and contribute to projects and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders within the DG, HR family, DIGIT, and other EU organizations.
