Description:
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Miami office. This position will report to the Director Global Sourcing Solutions. As part of the Sourcing Technology team, the Business Analyst will provide the Sourcing teams at Corporate and the opco’s with support for the implementation of applications & solutions that enable the corporation to leverage our global scale across $10 billion of direct and indirect goods and services. This position will support all key spend areas, with a focus on Fuel, Food/Beverage & Hotel.
As a Business Analyst, this position is responsible for working with key Sourcing stakeholders across our 9 Brands to provide systems support for specific sourcing initiatives with the goal of leveraging our global scale. Positive relationship building with the ability to be influential without direct authority will be required.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems preferred, or related experience
- 4+ years of experience with a track record of driving results in systems support, project management, technical writing, and business requirements. Prior sourcing/supply chain experience/knowledge preferred but not required
- 4+ years of experience as project manager, business analyst, technical writer, implementation specialist or equivalent level. Experience with reporting tools is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical and process improvement skills
- Demonstrated Project management skills or previous experience with Agile development (scrum, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others and interact with all levels of the organization – able to interface independently and effectively with peers in other departments/ Brands
- Well organized and can prioritize multiple requests simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
The hourly for this role is $37-$39 an hour, paid every Friday.

Responsibilities:
THE POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
- Project Management Support for implementations
- QA/UAT and end-user testing support

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Schedule meetings with stakeholders and distribute meeting notes
- Maintain a tracking list for team member deliverables
- Follow up on internal & vendor deliverables and present status during meetings
- Liaise with vendor for organizing meetings, working sessions, etc.
- Maintain status slides for project updates
- Ensure all meetings are recorded & organize recordings
- Organize project artifacts & maintain SharePoint
- Conduct Unit Testing for cross-team projects
- Create UAT Scripts for cross-team projects
- Provide End User Testing Support
- Tracking and documenting UAT defects and fixes
- Tracking and documenting Integration Testing, defects, fixes
- Engage with business users to document Business Requirements using standardized format
- Analyze business needs, create process flow diagrams
- Gap/Fit analysis for applications, document manual processes and workarounds
- Create & maintain governance documents
- Create specialized training & guidance content
- Organize & coordinate on-site meetings, training, workshops
- Assist users with specific or complex use cases
- Create reports, charts, graphs, slides to support the overall progress of a project or solution
- Assist with implementation activities including but not limited to data migration/validation, configuration, user setup, troubleshooting
- Basic administrative activities related to projects, implementations, solutions design
