Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst - Climate Risk with proven ability to join our dynamic team. You will handle business analysis aspects of IT delivery for Climate Risk with focus on delivering data and functional specifications documents, excel prototypes of data processing and providing walkthrough of business requirements to Dev and QA teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years work experience as a Business Analyst with strong knowledge of climate risk PCAF(nice-to-have)
- Understanding of financial products (derivatives Bonds Equity FX loans etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed understanding of current state including data feeds required for Enterprise Risk Engines and Reporting
- Understand changes required in current state to support the future strategic platform for Client platform
- Understand new Data sources for a range of (PCAF) Asset Classes – Residential Real Estate, Commercial Real Estate, Sovereign Debt, Project Finance, Listed Equity and Corporate Bonds, Business Loans and unlisted Equities
- Map and provide rules for the transformation of data from different sources into standardized data feeds required for the Climate Risk engines
- Work closely with business users to understand business requirements and demo system functionality
- Prepare high level and detailed requirements and specifications for the project in accordance with SDLC objectives
- Efficiently perform business analysis tasks including documentation of requirements, data analysis and UAT
- Work closely with development team, explain the requirements, validate the design assumptions for various business scenarios and testing
- Support QA/Business team in creation of UAT test cases against business requirements
