The role as Business Analyst & Content Acquisition Manager sits in the Nordic Content Acquisition & Negotiation team, which is responsible for ensuring that Telenor has an optimal content strategy across the Nordics and the best possible content available for relevant business units within Telenor.
We are looking for a strong candidate to become a valued member of a high-performing team of content acquisition managers & negotiators spread across four different countries. The candidate will be involved from day one in helping the local TV product teams to offer even better products and services to our customers.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 2-3 years working experience.
  • Knowledge of the media and content industry in the Nordics.
  • Experience with business analysis and business development, preferably within the media industry and/or mobile industry.
  • Experience with negotiations across internal departments and with external suppliers.
  • Experience with partnership management.
  • Experienced in working in a matrix and virtual organization.
  • Be able to think strategically about a wide range of issues.
  • Profound understanding and experience of the Nordic culture.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of Nordic languages is considered beneficial.
  • BSc or MSc degree in a relevant field, preferably in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in content negotiations processes and distribution agreements for Telenor´s partnership with content providers.
  • Strongly contribute with business analysis within the Nordic Content Acquisition & Negotiation team.
  • Act as key account manager towards relevant content partners.
  • Develop and secure strong collaboration and transparency between Nordic Business Units.
  • Develop best-in-class ways of working both towards Nordic Business Units and external partners.
  • Participate in future TV business development from the content point of view.
  • Actively challenge and support local Business Units on assessments related to content.
  • Together with the local TV product teams, support in growing revenues and EBITDA through better content partnerships meeting the respective Business Units´ local strategy.
