BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Procurement Excellence department. The main purpose of our department is to support our procurement colleagues around the globe by providing procurement related business intelligence and supporting systems. Your main role will be to support our Category Leads in their work with the offshore wind supply chain via either

  • Collecting and processing supplier data across offshore wind technologies
  • Supporting the drafting, negotiation and evaluation of supplier contracts

Procurement Excellence acts as the procurement talent incubator within COP and thus you should expect an environment with high focus on personal development and feedback as well as the chance to get engaged in a variety of tasks, allowing you to test out different aspects of the procurement function. In the medium-term you can develop either into the role of a Category Lead in a central department or a Procurement Manager in a project organization.

Responsibilities:

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • your academic background could include business, economics, supply chain or data management, but we are flexible on this as long as you also,
  • work structured, coordinated, self-driven and goal oriented.
  • have experience from/interest in working with large sets of data.
  • are curious about offshore wind industry and the supply chain behind it.
  • can adapt your way of working to different stakeholders’ styles of working.
  • have initial experiences with business negotiations and the logical mind-set to evaluate offers from different suppliers.
  • like to work in a company which is currently reshaping its way of working and thus encourages its employees to present their own ideas about how to further improve the current approach
