The Corporate Systems Acquisitions & Integrations team plays a crucial role in seamlessly integrating technology infrastructures and systems during mergers and acquisitions. Collaborating across departments, the team ensures that IT assets are harmonized to maximize efficiency, security, and innovation. On any given day, the team could be integrating diverse software platforms, migrating data to create unified systems, developing streamlined processes to enhance operational workflows, or implementing robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information. Their focus is on fostering synergy and driving value creation, ultimately supporting a smoother transition and empowering the newly combined organization to thrive in a competitive landscape.
Let’s talk about the role
As a Business Analyst focused on IT M&A integration at ResMed, you will play a critical role in managing the integration of IT systems and processes. Your primary responsibilities will include asset and process discovery and ensuring alignment between the IT departments of the acquiring and acquired organizations.
- Work closely with IT stakeholders from both the acquiring and acquired organizations. Facilitate communication and alignment on IT integration objectives and deliverables.
- Conduct detailed discovery of IT assets (hardware, software, systems) within acquired organizations. Document and assess these assets.
- Analyze and document IT processes and workflows from the acquired organization. Identify integration points and areas of alignment with our existing IT processes.
- Coordinate with IT teams to execute integration activities.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on IT integration progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Suggest and implement improvements to the IT integration process based on lessons learned and best practices.
Let’s talk about you
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst. Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems and processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex IT data.
Preferred:
- A focus on IT M&A integration, including asset and process discovery. Experience in managing IT integration tasks during M&A activities. Foundational knowledge of ITIL principles and practices.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Scripting Languages, API’s, General Systems Administration, General Networking, and/or IT Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or additional training
