POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director, EEH&S, the Business Analyst, EEH&S is responsible for coordinating all administrative, support and financial processes and procedures including project management and analytical support to the Health & Safety, Engineering & Maintenance, and Environment business units. This role ensures that all business processes are in place, complemented with completed documentation and reporting standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
College diploma, preferably in business, accounting, or project management, supplemented with a minimum of 5 years general business and/or project management experience or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
SAP or enterprise application system experience.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and associated management system an asset
Demonstrated exemplary business skills.
Able to work autonomously, and be self-directed
Able to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization

Responsibilities:
Expense & Project Accounting
Design and manage processes and controls for EH&S (Environment, Health, and Safety) and Asset Management & Maintenance teams to execute transactions in respect of contract management; budget, forecast and accounting for expense and capital expenditures; generation and approval of purchase orders; goods receipt management; invoice processing and coding; and payment troubleshooting.
Review monthly financials against budget and identify and provide recommendations to internal business unit leaders on spend analysis. Assist in preparation of annual budgets.
Identify, shape, prioritize and define business needs and resolutions related to SAP process issues. Facilitate the close out of all capital and operational projects as well as all departmental purchase orders to maintain SAP system integrity.
Champion SAP and project systems, utilizing databases to administer, maintain and report on queries regarding payment, accounts, project status and general project budget and cost queries. Provide coordination and tracking as it relates to project set up, planning, scheduling, execution, costs, invoicing and close out, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
EH&S Program Administration
Accountable for maintaining the Incident Management System, ensuring privacy controls are current; and acting as key contact both internally and externally.
Accountable for maintaining the Compliance Platforms, ensuring data is current and all client accounts are in compliant status; and acting as key contact both internally and externally.
Create and maintain training courses for the Behavioral Safety and other programs. Coordinate all H&S training programs with HR and Operations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Review, edit and assist in research for all Environment, Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS) and EH&S policies and procedures, maintaining quality assurance and corporate standards. Maintain current documents on the UFA intranet and agent platform.
Data Management & Analytics
Prepare and distribute all monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including EEH&S Scorecards, meeting required timelines and ensuring highest quality and accuracy.
Prepare analytics as required on a variety of metrics to assist in identifying trends and improving safety company-wide.
Assist in preparation of presentations for all conferences and meetings for the team.
Act as a key point of contact for various groups on solving issues and concerns with respect to information, projects, support and training requests.
