We are looking for a talented business analyst to join a squad in Advanced Analytics. The squad’s mission is the development and execution of enhanced product content that will support an improved experience when customers research and purchase our products online. This is a unique opportunity to provide insights to our teams and leaders and help in building a lean process.

The Business Analyst will work closely with team members, Business Development, and cross-functional teams to ensure we are sourcing, validating and surfacing internal and external data to make informed business decisions.
This role requires strong communication skills to work with key stakeholders and business partners, to understand existing business processes and systems. The BA should also be able to demonstrate analytical thinking, business acumen, and a knack for working backwards from the needs in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operates independently in assessing and defining business needs and areas for improvement.
- Leads project from Inception to implementation phase
- Selects the appropriate analysis approach to a piece of work depending on its complexity, level of risk, known assumptions, constraints and dependencies.
- Proficient in scoping and recommending appropriate approaches. Capable of planning and managing their own activities to meet work you’re doing and deadlines.
- Effectively identifies partners and builds and manages relationships according to individual stakeholder needs and levels of influence.
- Contributes to communication plans and change management for projects and stakeholders.
- Responsible for requirements management plans including elicitation, approvals, processes, and scope impacts. Supports the work with the business to identify functional and technical requirements, translating the requirements into design specifications reflecting Functional Design, User Interface Design and Business Process.

- Working with business stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities; impacts and outcomes
- Working with the Product Manager and the Squad to test, document and communicate solution options
- Engagement with Subject Matter Experts and other Tribes/Squads who can support the Squad during solution delivery and facilitation of their involvement
- Ensuring that the business and organisational implications of day-to-day evolution of the solution are properly modelled and thought through
