Description:
Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong background in the automotive, aerospace or defense industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with system upgrades and data migrations, preferably relating to Teamcenter PLM system upgrade programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyse current business processes
- Define business requirements for system upgrades and data migration.
- Document business requirements for technology development and enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including end-users, project managers, engineers, and senior management.
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to help improve business processes and strategies.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are user-friendly.
- Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems and provide training and support to end-users on new or updated technology solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security standards.
Qualifications:
- BCS Business Analysis International Diploma (or equivalent)
- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
Essential skills:
- Knowledge and experience with Teamcenter PLM upgrades and data migrations.
- Advanced MS Excel ability and working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, MS Visio (or similar process modelling tool) and MS Word
- Agile and waterfall SDLC frameworks, roles, responsibilities and ceremonies
- Strong analytical skills
Desired Skills:
- Consulting experience preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial and regulatory awareness
- Self-management, the ability to plan and organise your work to align with the client’s plan or milestone dates, by setting quantified goals and working to defined standards
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the automotive, aerospace or defense industry.
