This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office, but fully remote applications will also be considered. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 + bonus
About the role:

This role is crucial in supporting the BI team in organising and handling diverse data including pricing, reporting and analysis. We are a data driven business which handles, cleanses and distributes data in clear and accurate ways. In this highly technical role you will help to shape our future and adopt new practices and technologies to better serve the business and our customers.

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
  • Provide basic user training and support for Power BI.
  • Data preparation and analysis for all stakeholders and promotion proposals.
  • Increase automation and self-service reporting for colleagues using Power BI and other tools.
  • Ensure that data is kept secure, accessible and that the principles of GDPR are always adhered to.
  • Use available resources to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of any relevant IT or BI fields, including emerging technologies.
  • Support pricing and promotional activity.
  • Support the BI team with ad-hoc requests for information.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, providing data outputs.
  • Prepare monthly reporting and analysis to stakeholders.

  • Commercially minded, self-motivated and a problem-solver.
  • Knowledge and experience of BI tools e.g. Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SQL.
  • Experience of producing reports and dashboards.
  • Highly analytical and results focused.
  • Accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
  • Able to challenge processes (and be challenged), keep to schedule and deliver quality campaigns on time.
  • Possess a growth mindset.
  • Knowledge of data modelling concepts is desirable.
  • Experience of pricing and understanding of costs and margins will be advantageous.
  • Travel industry experience is desirable.
