Description:

Overview:
DecisionPoint is seeking a Business Analyst (Field Deployment Specialist) to join our team in Atlanta providing On-demand operational, technical, and scientific subject matter expertise support that addresses response-related requirements enabling CDC to rapidly expand its capacity to respond to public health emergencies.
The Division of Emergency Operations (DEO), with support of the Office of Readiness and Response (ORR), is actively working to enhance and augment CDC’s approach to preparedness and response for Public Health Emergencies which supports the development and implementation of the CDCReady Responder Program.
This is 100% onsite position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The contractor shall coordinate Incident Management System (IMS) Field staffing actions in support of response field deployment requirements.
  • Coordinate searches and ensure deployment readiness requirements for staff.
  • Provides support for data requests and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or equivalent. Emergency management staffing and or deployment experience preferred.
  • 4 years experience an acceptable substitute for degree.
  • Public Trust Clearance
  • Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Mail)
  • Ability to effectively communicate needs at all briefings to assist with operational strategy.
  • Ability to identify gaps in existing resources.
  • Ability to multitask in emergency situations.
  • Ability to be flexible with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Interpersonal communication: telephone, email, and business etiquette.
  • Strong proofreading skill and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
