The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety (CPPS) has a career opportunity for a motivated and positive professional to work as a permanent full-time Business Analyst.

YOU WILL HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Database concepts, theories and principles for health care electronic records management in order to communicate with vendors and/or other technical supports;
• Business case development requiring methodologies used to create, design and facilitate group processes to collect end-user information within EMRs;
• System design standards used when communicating technical business information to end users, program operations analysts, programming/configuration analysts, and information technology personnel to ensure that the intent of system requirements is understood when program modifications are made;
• Computer software applications in health care electronic records management in order to research, access, relay and query data; perform statistical, qualitative, and quantitative analysis; create tables and generate spreadsheets; and
• Network and mainframe databases in preparation for new system development.
