Description:
Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our client.
Contract Dates: 10 months with potential extend
Pay Range: $35.34 to $40.25 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the day-to-day process of Trade Confirmations and deliver quality documents in a time efficient manner
- Follow-up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of Trade Confirmations
- Apply knowledge of Trade Confirmation platform, processes and regulations and ensure effective communication with stakeholders
- Actively engage with legal and front office teams to develop and maintain working relationships, build an understanding of client needs and deliver optimal service
- Represent the team as the first point of escalation for customers/business partners
- Handle and coach the team to ensure operational issues are handled appropriately and participate in the negotiation and resolution of significant internal and/or external issues
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to strengthen the team
- Analyze issues, conduct investigations, and contribute to audit reviews; assist in performing project testing
- Contribute to process improvements and innovations using automation tools
- Support industry driven projects (T+1, IBOR transition, etc.) and product onboarding initiatives
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years Capital Markets experience - more specially into operations
- ISDA definitions and ISDA practices
- Strong MS office
