Description:

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our client.
Contract Dates: 4 months
Pay Range: $35.34 to $40.25 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Excellent understanding of the Derivatives products, the market and currencies that the businesses trade in and, derivative confirmation documentation, processes, workflows, systems/applications, and regulatory reporting functions
  • Your understanding of operational risk management will enable you to effectively identify issues and dependencies while keeping up to date on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
  • With your keen attention to detail and accuracy, the review of all documentation is essential along with ensuring all necessary approvals have been obtained prior to issuing and approving all ISDA confirmations
  • You will coordinate and interact with various Operations groups, Front Office Traders, Technology, Legal, etc. to mitigate risks associated with the documentation and support of derivative transactions
  • Ability to handle the day-to-day confirmation and related exception management processes for Equity, Rates and Credit products
  • Strong relationship building skills to enable you to interact effectively with all levels of management throughout TDS including our executive team
  • With your innovative and can-do approach, you will build and foster an environment of innovation, highlight inefficiencies, risk and implement improvements to streamline our processes

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

  • BA- 1 to 2 years
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Testing experience - user acceptance testing (1 to 2 years testing experience)
  • Capital market experience 1 year
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative who can learn and adapt quickly
  • Experience in leading and/or supervising team members
  • Solid understanding of regulatory rules and regulations impacting derivative operations
  • Some software development experience with Python, VBA or JAVA
  • Highly organized and well-developed skills in negotiating and influencing with the ability to deal with conflicting points of view and to effect creative and responsive solutions
