Description:
WE’RE LOOKING TO GROW OUR BUSINESS TEAM AT NLS!
As a Business Analyst II, you’ll have the opportunity to reshape the way insurance companies operate by leveraging cutting-edge technology and driving meaningful change.
Picture this: you’ll be part of a dynamic team that thrives on learning, sharing ideas, and challenging the status quo. We’re not just about meeting business needs; we’re all about paving the way for tomorrow’s success. Imagine being at the forefront of industry best practices, working closely with clients to understand their unique requirements, and translating them into innovative software solutions.
We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid to take the lead, plan and facilitate requirement gathering sessions like a pro. Your strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and your knack for organizing and modeling requirements will be crucial in driving our projects forward. Collaborating with fellow business analysts, development teams, and QA specialists, you’ll be an essential bridge between the insurance business and technology.
While we value your technical skills, we also appreciate your interpersonal prowess. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as you’ll be working closely with clients and internal stakeholders. And let’s not forget about your motivation and self-starting attitude. We want someone who can excel independently but also thrives in a collaborative team environment.
If you’re wondering what’s in it for you, we’ve got you covered. You’ll gain invaluable experience working with industry-leading tools like Duck Creek, Guidewire, and BriteCore. Plus, our commitment to your professional growth extends to certifications such as AINS and IIBA. And if you’re familiar with Scrum/Agile methodology, that’s a definite advantage.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Plan and lead requirement gathering sessions
- Collaborate and communicate with internal teams and clients
- Analyze, organize and model requirements providing traceability
- Work directly with clients to understand their business needs and effectively translate those into requirements
- Collaborate with other business analysts, development, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Work directly with Lead BA and/or Project Manager to understand work assignments
