JOB DESCRIPTION

You will have the opportunity to work with one of our various teams within the Enterprise Protect . From Day 1, you will be treated as an equal member of the team and given meaningful assignments to help us deliver improvements to our enterprise protect platform..

Job responsibilities for a Business Analyst Intern/Co-op may include, but is not limited to the following:

  • E2E ownership of multiple projects from start to finish
  • Engage with stakeholders, including at senior levels, to understand issues and translate that into strategic direction and actions with recommendations
  • Conducting ongoing industry and competitive analysis to obtain market insights and deepen your expertise on all topics related to fraud and fraud operations in TD
  • Coordinating and preparing thought leadership positions, executive briefs, presentation materials etc. as required by key stakeholders, leadership and the senior executive team
  • Sourcing, developing and curating ideas that will deliver value to customers and operations teams
  • You will help lead the ideation process and determine which ideas should be promoted to drive Customer value and business outcomes
  • Build process flow summaries, business case analysis and maintain audit controls for all initiatives

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in relevant studies / disciplines such as Financial Analysis and Risk Management, Forensic Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Compliance and Regulatory Affairs
  • Entrepreneurial & Critical Thinking – Your naturally curious and can bring external thinking and ideas to identify opportunities. You have the ability to strategize by identifying problem statements and articulating potential solutions, recommendations and a path forward backed by clear rationale
  • Communication – You’re a natural storyteller with strong verbal and written communication skills; experienced in engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Interpersonal skills – Track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Technology Fluency – understanding emerging technology trends / disruptions
  • Project Delivery – supported platform or application development programs, products or projects
  • Excited to explore or has existing Process Excellence experience; including Lean-Six-Sigma accreditation and practical application experience
  • Proficient with Excel, Visio, and any other analytical tools

EARLY TALENT REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 5th – August 29th, 2025.
