PROGRAM OVERVIEW

McKesson’s Intern program is 10-12 weeks long, and is designed to provide:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern to support our Patient Support Services programs and navigation services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis and a keen interest in healthcare. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and project support within a healthcare setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present complex data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience or coursework in data analysis, healthcare, or business administration is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient support programs and navigation services.
  • Gather and analyze data from various programs to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Support the team in preparing detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation related to ongoing projects, initiatives, and business reviews.

Meetings & Brainstorming:

  • Participate in meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new initiatives.
  • Provide insights and suggestions based on data analysis to drive new projects and initiatives.

Database Management

  • Help maintain and update internal databases and systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and updates.

Modelling and Analytical Reports

  • Assist in designing and developing models and analytical reports.
  • Evaluate and track current state operations and simulate future state operations to identify improvement opportunities.
