Business Analyst

REQUIREMENTS:

-Min. 3 years experience as a business analyst
-Successfully completed projects as a Business Analyst in the last 5 years (at least 2 projects)
-Experience in working with Swiss federal authorities
-Involvement in at least one system replacement mandate
Education:
-Completed technical or business studies
-HERMES certification

PROJECT / ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (m/f/d) for an exciting project (923922JP) in the field of civil defense and disaster management. In this role, you will be instrumental in the analysis and implementation of systems that directly impact the safety and efficiency of emergency response organizations.

MAIN TASKS:

-Support the specialist departments in the creation of requirements specifications for solution approaches, taking into account the technical system requirements
-Developing the technical basis for the creation of project assignments
-Analyzing the overall context of business processes, organizational structures, IT and material resources and identifying weak points
-Eliciting, reviewing and documenting the technical needs and expectations of organizational units in their project plans; developing solution proposals and decision bases based on the recorded requirements
-Developing proposals for optimization options in terms of structural and process organization
-Translating business requirements into ICT requirements
-Processing change requests from clients and project committees and preparing the relevant decision-making basis for further action
-Preparation of quality assurance measures in accordance with the specified requirements
-Evaluate and validate operational solutions with regard to the project specifications
-Creating test cases; assessing and supporting user tests
-Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and present the results of this communication
