Your Opportunity

  • The Front Office Services team (FOS) is part of the Investment Management COO Office and is situated within the front office
  • You will interface directly with the Investment team, including Portfolio Managers and Traders to support their change needs
  • You will provide Investment business consultancy and project support on strategic projects and working groups
  • Act as an intermediary and escalation point for the front office into other business areas and externally
  • Provide detailed analysis and documentation to support front office change requirements
  • Manage the implementation and support testing of change occurring within the Investment department
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills

  • Good experience and knowledge of the asset management business, including security types, front office workflows and fund structures
  • Experience supporting Investment teams or similar Business Analyst experience in the Finance industry
  • Ability to anticipate business needs and differentiate between priorities
  • Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks with the ability to easily context switch and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience stewarding projects involving buy-in and cooperation from stakeholders across multiple areas of the business and external
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working collaboratively across different teams and departments, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand complex issues and problems, distill into actionable components and identify pragmatic solutions

Nice to have skills

  • Charles River OMS knowledge
  • Project management experience
  • General understanding of the middle and back office support of the investment management industry
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Project, JIRA, Confluence and AHA!

  • Knowledge of financial markets, financial markets function and the impact of economic figures and national/regional/global events on markets

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$110,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be posted until August 31, 2024.
Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
