BUSINESS ANALYST

The successful incumbent will support the purchasing application and system related change requests and to align with Global and Regional stakeholders ensuring systems are operating to existing demands.

• Collaborates with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered timely by monitoring and tracking to ensure system development and quality meets project deadlines.
• Conducts gap analysis to identify areas for improvement to existing processes and systems.
• Liaises with vendors and IT for project implementation, application testing, application support and change request.
• Provides training, technical support and timely resolution on the issues or enhancement arising from existing purchasing systems and application.
• Supports Asia’s team in application and system development for migration and system retirement.
• Supports new application project assigned by Global or Asia Application Team in user requirement gathering, system solution proposal, UAT, user training and rollout.
• Creates test plans, functional scenarios per requirements and system testing.
• Maintains application processes and delivers status reports.
• Translates complex issues clearly into non-technical terms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Computer Science, Business Analytica or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years of work experiences in project, vendor and/or incident management.
• Good knowledge in software development lifecycle.
• Proficient in SQL, MS Excel and MS Access.
• Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills to various stakeholders.
