Description:

BUSINESS ANALYST REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
  • Fluent in business process mapping and use of flow diagram software (Visio, SmartDraw, etc.).
  • Familiarity with web-based application development technologies such as .NET, XML, and SQL.
  • SQL development experience preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong team orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization, project management abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with clinical end users to define and document functionality enhancements that improve business process workflow, enhance customer communication, and generate meaning healthcare quality metrics.
  • Customize and configure system software to meet business requirements. This may include limited SQL code development and executing SQL queries to evaluate and troubleshoot issues.
  • Utilize software tools to request, track, and manage project work – including granular time spent on tasks.
  • Thoroughly document user functional design requirements, evaluate scope, and recommend solutions.
  • Develop test plans, create test cases, execute testing, and ensure alignment with business requirements and objectives.
  • Coordinate application implementation for new clients and version releases for existing clients.
  • Manage small to large projects including defining schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and reporting status.
  • Write user documentation, release notes, training materials, and document solutions in a knowledge base.
  • Provide training and user support to business clients.
