Position: Business Analyst Lead
Location: London (Hybrid)

The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our team to help deliver high profile Campaign to Cash Transformation portfolio. The Business Analyst Lead will use their proficient technical, analytical, and communication skills to understand the business needs and recommend procedures and solutions to satisfy them.
The successful candidate will work across the Campaign to Cash at Program Level, supporting the program function and working with senior business owners, they will be accountability for the project business analyst quality of their deliverables and ensuring standards are met regarding requirements and a sufficient level of detail. Manage the expectations for business owners from a requirement perspective. The Business Analyst Lead will be accountable for maintaining high standards in all BA work and ensuring a common approach is adopted whilst delivering client solutions. This role requires working with global cross-functional teams
Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Lead a team of business analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define business strategies and objectives.
  • Develop and implement best practices for business analysis within the organisation.

Business Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth analyses of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and User Stories.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of business analysis projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope.
  • Work closely with project managers to track progress, manage risks, and resolve issues.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in business analysis processes.
  • Recommend and implement tools and techniques to enhance analytical capabilities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a business analyst lead, with a track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.
  • Experience in working with complex systems and data sets
  • Strong analytical skills - gathering data and using it to propose solutions that can lead to process improvements, business performance and efficiency
  • Effectively communicating with senior members of the organisation to establish a client relationship
  • Identify benefits of utilising new technology to encourage both internal and external stakeholders to take note and make changes
  • Must be highly proficient in requirement engineering (development and management)
  • Experience in capturing functional and non-functional requirements
  • Working with delivery teams, developers, testers, delivery leads using Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Working with the team to create detailed business review, outlining the problems, opportunities and solutions
  • Data analysis and process modelling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of UML (Unified Modular Language) and BPMN (Business Process Modular Notation).
  • Experienced in Waterfall, agile and scrum methodologies.
  • Efficient in user story writing using Gherkin acceptance criteria
  • Ability to working outside normal working hours for global team meetings., urgent calls, stand-ups.
