About the role
As our Business Analyst Manager, you will work with a variety of teams through all phases of the Transurban experience design framework from Discovery, Ideate, Design, Build and Evolve, to deliver enhanced experiences supporting our key transformation projects, core platforms and strategic initiatives.
You’ll join an innovative team that plays pivotal role in leading a team of Business Analysts, uplifting the capabilities of the BA craft, leading the analysis on transformation projects, strategic programs and initiatives
As our Business Analys Manager, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Manage a team of Business Analysts with a transformation program, core platform, and strategic project focus
- Drive the vision and purpose of the Business Analyst Team and how it will function within the broader business
- Drive simplification in implementation through your in-depth understanding of business process and system and platform knowledge
- Contribute to business case development, identifying the benefits that could be realised from the proposed investment
- Contribute to the development of User acceptance testing scenarios
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Experience in business analysis, within a technology project or applications development context
- Experience leading a team
- The ability to build effective relationships with employees across the entire spectrum of the organisation
- Experience in leading or operating within a complex project environment
- Th ability to successfully engage stakeholders and to facilitate meetings/workshops as necessary to achieve business objectives
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence outcomes
- Qualifications in change management, Project Management or Business Analysis – nice to have
