SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

  • Experience in in project management – agile/scrum project management would be beneficial
  • Good communication with the ability to flex between functional and technical conversations
  • Overview of EY’s end-to-end processes customers need to go through and that are critical in reporting (e.g. engagement and opportunity life cycles incl. pricing, budgeting, ETC, account planning, new business development) as well EY’s key management structures
  • Understanding of the EY’s financial business rules, KPIs and the key source systems (e.g. Mercury, Dynamics, MDM, GRP, Billing)
  • Light experience with UX design and requirement documentation
  • Familiarity with data and root cause analysis as well as data validation
  • Experience or interest in technical solutions and analysing data, preferable knowledge about SQL, Power BI, dimensional models and cubes
  • Solution oriented and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented, analytical, structural work approach as well as emphasis on quality and consistency
  • Fluent English skills

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Turn solutions designs into requirements (user stories) including acceptance criteria ensuring quality, consistency, ease-of-use and alignment with overall design principles
  • Moderate between the technical and QA teams as well as the customer facing Report Advisor roles
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the reporting tools and optimize as well as stabilize the underlying process and quality checks
  • Coordinate with technical & QA teams based on agreed roadmap
  • Validate enhancements as well as resolved defects from a functional and data accuracy point of view
  • Review defects (SNOW), support their remediation and support customers
  • Work closely with QA team to define validation criteria and activities and helps prioritizing defects ensuring high quality of deliverables
  • Support R&DA internal and external User Acceptance Test (UAT) activities
  • Maintain relevant supporting tools (e.g. Sub-Account Management tool, GTER Adjustments templates, Hierarchies etc.)
  • Work hand in hand with the senior BA and the entire BA team
  • Support report advisors by providing functional input and support for design and training sessions
  • Review and learn from solutions of other product line teams to ensure consistency and usability

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3 or more years of experience in a finance or technical department
  • Some relevant business experience within EY would be beneficial
  • High motivation to learn from your experienced colleagues
