    Job Description
    Our Customer is a leading force in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to powering homes and businesses with 100% clean energy. Through cutting-edge technology, we manage renewable resources like wind and solar, utilizing innovative data solutions to ensure energy availability when demand peaks.
    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. This role is key in ensuring that business needs are translated into tangible, innovative solutions that deliver value, efficiency, and improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to capture business problems, define solution requirements, and deliver impactful changes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in business analysis or a related field, with proven experience leading business analysis activities in complex projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of technology solutions, data modeling, and process improvement techniques. Familiarity with [specific software/tools].
  • Problem-Solving & Innovation: Ability to generate innovative solutions to complex business challenges and new opportunities.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and manage competing objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Analysis: Accurately capture and document business problems, drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with health, safety, security, usability, data, and supportability standards.
  • Solution Design & Assessment: Translate requirements into actionable functionality, evaluate solution options for risk, feasibility, and business impact, and lead in creating acceptance criteria.
  • Process & Data Modeling: Analyze and model processes, data flows, and technology to identify areas for improvement, enhance current systems, and support decision-making.
  • Documentation & Traceability: Develop and maintain clear, updated documentation that aligns requirements throughout the project lifecycle and ensure traceability to final solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software vendors, designers, and developers to manage software limitations, system designs, and database requirements, ensuring they meet business needs.
  • Configuration & Standards: Configure and document software, processes, and systems, ensuring alignment with agreed standards and tools.
  • Testing & Validation: Define and coordinate testing phases, validate solutions against requirements, and confirm they meet business goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead stakeholder management activities, including facilitating large design sessions and driving consensus for solution approval, funding, and prioritization.
  • Innovation & Strategic Guidance: Stay current on relevant technologies, conduct feasibility studies, and drive strategic goals by proposing enhancements in value, cost, data, and functionality.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Guide business analysis activities within large projects or strategic initiatives, coach team members, champion best practices, and contribute to the development of long-term Business Analysis capabilities.
  • Change Management: Adapt to organizational and environmental changes in ongoing activities and support stakeholders in setting realistic project expectations.
