  • you think and act globally and grasp business opportunities or identify pain points to be addressed
  • you highlight correlation and dependencies between squads within different parts of the organization

Responsibilities:

MODEL RISK INVENTORY SOLUTION (IMODEL) BUSINESS PARTNER JOB PURPOSE

You will be part of ING MoRM MRO Reporting and Inventory Squad, that is in charge of helping set and execute model risk inventory management and reporting strategy, monitor model portfolio & collaborating with stakeholders in showing value of Model Risk Management.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure complex Model Risk Management initiatives are translated into business requirements and/or features/stories by using business knowledge:

  • you are able to translate new framework / policies, procedures, reporting needs into required model inventory solution and requirements,
  • you think and act globally and grasp business opportunities or identify pain points to be addressed
  • you highlight correlation and dependencies between squads within different parts of the organization.

Responsible for the solution design and strategy how to use to show what is needed and how the End-to-End solution will work:

  • this involves creating a blueprint or high-level overview of the proposed solution, outlining the key features;
  • you are able to analyse the data extracted from the system to drive the improvement
  • raising proposals (business cases) of new improvement initiatives;
  • you are responsible for the due diligence refinement in a marketplace requests prepared by solution key users focusing on sufficient granularity for the development team to initially assess delivery. Ensure compliance with main policies and frameworks, resolve data maintenance and process handling ownership etc. You conduct, review and maintain on topics as general solution concept, workflows, design records, proof of concepts, all this specifications are duly documented.
  • during the development phase, you coordinate if additional refinement with requestors are needed and support to the development team,
  • you play a crucial role in evaluating and selecting from various options of solution proposed by asset owner. You assess various options and make recommendations based on factors such as regulatory compliance, business case compatibility, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness, process leanness.

Ensure features delivery (Planning, coordination, dependencies management):

  • you are and feel responsible for the end-to-end integration and realization of the solution change delivery work (across squads and/or Tribes). You oversee progress and coordinate the dependencies and address impediments across the whole chain,
  • you identify (and manage) risks and potential issues and offer improvements across Tribes,
  • you identify and manage dependencies for features and epics across different Tribes.
