BUSINESS ANALYST

Short Description of the Job
Support the identification of solutions that deliver value to stakeholders and lead in the definition and realisation of solutions, processes, benefits, avoidance of cost, identification of new opportunities, understanding of required capabilities and modelling the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Supports the analysis of complex requirements
Capture, validate and document business and system requirements and make sure that they are in line with key strategic principles and translated from business operations, business objectives or from external requirements
Interrogate and interpret large volumes of data
Understand the wider business impact across key outputs and processes

THE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

Youll need to hold an appropriate business analyst certification, such as BAX, CPRE and CBAP. Additionally, youll have a highly analytical mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work.

Youll also need:

• Experience of applying business analysis tools and techniques
• Agile methodology and delivery experience required
• Business Analysis experience along with technical delivery experience, and proven planning skills
• At least 3 years relevant experience in a Business Analysis role
• Banking experience essential
• A background of delivering business analysis in a technology or IT function
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Payment experience essential SWIFT and SEPA schemes in particular

In your role, youll be supporting the analysis of complex requirements, while capturing, validating and documenting business and system requirements and making sure that they are in line with key strategic principles. In the course of your work, well also look to you to build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders and third party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions.

Youll also:

• Create and maintain documentation, as well as support controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers (including gathering, analysing, and presenting facts and data accurately)
• Identify and support cut-over and implementation tasks
• Trace and link business requirements to future state design
• Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts at various stages of the project in order to validate the solution design
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and support business users in executing the user acceptance testing
