JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Business Analyst to join our team in Dublin on a 12–24-month contract. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered successfully and meet business objectives. This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple tasks with a high level of attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a hands-on role within a dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in a hybrid working environment.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, and project support.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering:
- Engage with stakeholders across various departments to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to thoroughly understand business needs and challenges.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for the development team.
- Process Analysis & Improvement:
- Analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Recommend changes that will enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.
- Develop and document new business processes, ensuring they are scalable and align with best practices.
- Project Support:
- Work closely with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Provide hands-on support throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyse data to identify trends, insights, and key performance indicators that support decision-making.
- Use data visualization tools to present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Support data-driven decision-making by providing accurate and timely analysis.
- Testing & Validation:
- Develop test cases and scenarios to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are free of defects.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the solution meets the needs of the business.
- Document and track issues, ensuring they are resolved before final deployment.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and manage their expectations.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any business analysis-related queries.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all business analysis activities, including requirements, processes, and test results.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure all documentation is kept up to date and accessible to relevant teams.
