JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Business Analyst to join our team in Dublin on a 12–24-month contract. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered successfully and meet business objectives. This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple tasks with a high level of attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a hands-on role within a dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in a hybrid working environment.
  • Strong experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, and project support.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering:
  • Engage with stakeholders across various departments to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to thoroughly understand business needs and challenges.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for the development team.
  • Process Analysis & Improvement:
  • Analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Recommend changes that will enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.
  • Develop and document new business processes, ensuring they are scalable and align with best practices.
  • Project Support:
  • Work closely with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Provide hands-on support throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Analyse data to identify trends, insights, and key performance indicators that support decision-making.
  • Use data visualization tools to present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by providing accurate and timely analysis.
  • Testing & Validation:
  • Develop test cases and scenarios to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are free of defects.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the solution meets the needs of the business.
  • Document and track issues, ensuring they are resolved before final deployment.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and manage their expectations.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for any business analysis-related queries.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all business analysis activities, including requirements, processes, and test results.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure all documentation is kept up to date and accessible to relevant teams.
