What will you be doing?

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, user needs, and product vision.
  • Elicit, document, and prioritize user stories, features, and acceptance criteria based on business value and collaborator input.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and provide mentorship throughout development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clarifying requirements, answering questions, and resolving issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, development teams, and other relevant parties.
  • Participate in sprint planning, Product Backlog Refinement, and other scrum meetings to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
  • Review and provide feedback on deliverables to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that delivered features meet user needs and acceptance criteria.
  • Continuously supervise and prioritize the product backlog based on feedback from customers.

We expect you to have:

  • A few years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner.
  • Experience with product management tools like Jira, Salesforce, Figma, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with cross-functional teams.

It would be excellent if you have (opportunity to learn):

  • User Experience (UX) Design: Understanding of UX principles to contribute to the creation of user-friendly software interfaces.
  • Coding Skills: Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) to facilitate communication with developers and understand technical aspects of the software.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can advise product decisions and improvements.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
  • Technical Writing: Proficiency in technical writing to build clear and concise documentation, including user stories, requirements specifications, and product roadmaps.
  • Have Spanish language skills.
