BUSINESS ANALYST/PROJECT MANAGER – REFERENCE DATA

We are currently looking for dynamic individuals to join our Change Practice as Business Analyst/Project Managers; allocated to a multi-disciplinary squad with a robust background in reference data, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial instruments and the regulatory landscape governing them.
Proven experience delivering change projects in a Business Analyst/Project Management capacity.
- Effective at network building and forming relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in matrix structure and to leverage the input / engagement of colleagues in other departments
- Demonstrable experience in financial services, particularly in reference data and regulatory operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial instruments, including bonds and OTC instruments.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like EMIR, CFTC, SFTR, and MiFID.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of bridging gaps between multiple teams.
- Proven ability to document processes and requirements, including the creation of Business Requirement Documents BRDs) and user stories.
- Knowledge of trade and transaction reporting data is essential
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
- Analyse and refine requirements pertinent to reference data for the Climate Risk Project.
- Collaborate with Middle and Back Office teams to ensure effective communication and comprehension of data requirements.
- Document business requirements, aligning them with regulatory reporting mandates.
- Establish and monitor the governance framework for changes influencing regulatory reporting.
- Work closely with Change, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure prompt and accurate achievement of project goals.
- Implement ’best practices’ in terms of validating current regulatory reporting requirements and ensure future reporting requirements and changes adhere to these ‘best practices’.
- Understanding the current regulatory reporting governance, controls and architecture in place
- Build and roll out appropriate MI to provide impactful and concise information as to the status of regulatory change.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
