Description:
OBJECTIVE
The business analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining project roadmaps in collaboration with business partners, developers, and senior architects within the organization for business intelligence projects. They will be tasked with analyzing business intelligence operations, identifying areas to automate manual reporting processes, establish KPIs, and advance analytics. The business analyst will be required to lead productive, strategic conversations with all levels and departments across the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Interview business stakeholders to develop custom short, medium, and long-term roadmaps focused on report automation, KPI/leading indicator development, self-service reporting, advanced analytics, and integration of AI into data consumption,
- Drive improvements of business intelligence practices through data governance and quality assurance.
- Facilitate reporting process design sessions to identify opportunities for optimization and simplification.
- Document current and future state business processes, define and document functional requirements, and conduct information flow analysis and process modeling within and across all disciplines and administrative components.
- Analyze process gaps and information flow obstacles or system issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Align processes where standardization may be required either from a business process standpoint or technology.
- Translate business needs into high-level technical requirements and solutions.
- Prepare and present related material to project teams, steering committees, and/or stakeholder organizations.
- Analyze information to establish recommendations for improvements in system effectiveness and efficiency.
