Description:

LOCATION: EDINBURGH/BRISTOL OR TORONTO - FTC (12 MONTHS)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Developing requirements, breaking down business problems into epics, features and user stories/managing change control
  • Presenting analysis and process reviews to stakeholder and project groups
  • Identifying & reporting risks to track through to resolution
  • Supporting business testing, ensuring readiness for change (e.g. UAT, Training, documentation etc.)Implementing process improvements and system deployments

  • Ideally from a global or financial services environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working within an Agile environment
  • Product or project experience that shows your ability to deliver against a plan

Responsibilities:

A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

This role will work closely with the Product Manager and development Scrum team to deliver Insights, a data and reporting tool for clients. Insights is one of our key product initiatives and is a step-change in our offering, to stay ahead of market needs.
You will be working within cross-functional teams, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements & acceptance criteria to ensure the business objectives and product vision is being delivered. Alongside understanding complex issues, identifying root causes & analysing options. To support in your involvement of developing recommendations to aid delivering solutions which will ultimately result in business growth.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

We’re looking for a real self-starter, dynamic and capable of working independently managing multiple priorities. It is essential that you are a proven Business Analyst with experience with reporting platforms, data analytics and visualisation tools. Along with a background in facilitating & managing workshops/meetings with both the business and technology teams.
You are passionate about using data to drive actions, having a strong track record of driving change in global organisations and be confident working in a fast-paced environment, able to overcome challenges quickly.
You will be delivery focused with excellent stakeholder management skills and work effectively with the business, product and technology teams/non-technical audiences.
