THE BUSINESS ANALYST WILL….

Report to the Director, Information Systems. We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in a multi-channel retail environment to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business applications, integrations, workflows and technology solutions. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams during all phases of technology implementation to design processes and solutions that satisfy business needs and contribute to business success. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring technology, processes, people, and data work well together.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in an Agile environment.
  • Extensive experience with core software applications, including D365, Shopify and similar business applications.
  • Expertise in creating business requirement documents, functional requirement documents, user stories, and the like.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops for business stakeholders to elicit requirements, discover workflows or work towards a shared understanding of issues.
  • Experience in creating workflow diagrams using Visio or similar tools.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Excellent written and communication skills coupled with a strong customer service orientation. A great listener with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

    The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$90,000.00. The final aligned upon salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document and manage requirements for technology initiatives. Translate business needs into technical specifications for system enhancements. Define criteria for successful implementation.
  • Workflow and Processes: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and design efficient workflows. Prepare diagrams and other visual information to aid in understanding of processes by both business users and technology teams.
  • Business Teams Support: Participate in activities that support the success of our business teams in using technology including training, UAT, workshops, change management, data management, and reporting.
  • IS Team Support: Work with product owners, developers, QA, data analysts, and others to ensure understanding of the business requirements and processes across systems and BI. Facilitate communication with the business teams.
  • System Integration and Optimization: Work on initiatives related to the efficient operation, data integrity, and automation of our systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
