Position Overview:

As an Analyst of Business Intelligence supporting Fleet and Delivery, you will have the opportunity to support projects, which are directly tied to the operational success of SiteOne’s delivery operations. Given our digital sales growth and the increasing role that digital fulfillment is playing in the marketplace, this role is critical to ensuring we deliver on the customer experience while ensuring disciplined financial performance and capacity management. Reporting to the Manager of Business Intelligence, you will be supported along the way to consult with your partners, dig into the data using SQL and Power BI, and provide insights into performance. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs, but the role will have accountability to delivering the following:

  • Supporting ad-hoc analysis and data discovery.
  • Create visuals within Power BI following defined templates and partner guidance.
  • Highlight and deliver insights on key datapoints to tell a compelling story.
  • Develop and present analytics that aid in the understanding of business processes, identify patterns, and communicate insights.
  • Support partners in connecting to data models and utilizing them to self-serve on core questions.
  • Part of a larger team with overall responsibilities within Business Intelligence Engineering and Insight delivery.

Skills We Are Seeking::

  • 4-year college degree with equivalent experience (4+ years) in, Data Analysis, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Finance, and/or Supply Chain Operations
  • Technical skills supporting data exploration and analysis (e.g., SQL, Power BI/DAX, Excel, Object Based Programing)
  • Background working in or supporting Fleet or Delivery operations, with a history of leveraging data to drive efficiencies.
  • Ability to identify and share a story with facts and data, concisely and meaningfully.
  • Willingness to make recommendations with a progress over perfection mindset.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management with an elevated level of autonomy, motivation, and self-direction.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to establish and nurture connections across the enterprise to build a network of partners and resources.
  • Driven with a natural curiosity, ability to listen to partners, ask questions and look within the data for outliers and connections to improve upon existing tools and processes.
  • Experience in influencing without authority to facilitate process improvement and streamline workflows
