JOB DESCRIPTION

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an exceptionally skilled and ambitious Business Analyst to join our world-class Information Technology team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation and supporting our customers in their mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

EXPERIENCE

• Working ERP and CRM system and data knowledge a plus (SAP, Salesforce experience preferred)
• 6+ years of working experience in Power BI Dashboard development, visualization, and scripting. Proficiency with MS Access, Azure, AWS redshift, and SQL databases. Proficient in EDW data management structures and external data skills.
• 3+ years of working experience in SSAS Tabular & SSAS OLAP Models
• Prior experience in MS PowerApps is preferred
• Conceptual understanding of AI/ML is helpful. Python language experience is desirable.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, communication, and presentation skills
• Process improvement experience desired
• Experience in Biotech or Technical Support industries.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Experience working with large sets of data and able to complete data validations in a short period of time.
• Develop in-depth understanding of data environment and demonstrate knowledge to build robust scalable solutions
• Solid business facing skills to gather and document requirements
• Ability to translate requirements into dashboard format
• Knowledge of formal database architecture and design
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, tools, and team-based development like Jira, Atlassian suite
