We are currently expanding at a phenomenal rate – on the back of what is our record year in terms of revenue (over £930m) - and so are looking for outstanding individuals to join our dedicated Head Office team, to help the company continue to flourish.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in business analysis, with familiarity with Agile/Scrum and working with Development Teams
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g. Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Aha, DevOps) and understanding of SDLC
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills, along with experience in generating process documentation
  • Ideally with Agile Business Analyst accreditation

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking to recruit an ambitious and dedicated Business Analyst to join our technology team, as they continue on a journey of significant growth. Joining as a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding and analysing business needs, identifying problems or opportunities, and proposing effective solutions by bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure that projects are well-defined, well-documented, communicated and successfully delivered.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Elicit and document requirements using a range of techniques, leading refinement ceremonies to ensure the team are clear on the objectives of each user story
  • A Technical businessanalyst skillset to surface and record/map Systems/process/workflows associated to a custom built Travel Booking platform and processes within a travel management function
  • Also Surface and record information managed upstream that may impact data imports elsewhere
  • This analysis will form the basis of the requirements for the design and implementation phase
  • Write clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements, that meet the objectives of the EPIC set by the Product Owner or Product Manager
  • Analyse gathered requirements, identify gaps, and document detailed business and functional specifications.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including business users, product managers, developers, and testers, to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements.
  • Manage and track ongoing requirement changes using established processes.
  • Identify, analyse, and document key business processes
  • Ensure that the Sprint Backlog is prioritised regularly for the Development Team
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features, providing clarification and guidance on requirements, and resolving any issues or impediments that may arise during development delivery cycle.
  • Participate in retrospectives and all other Agile ceremonies, providing constructive feedback and actionable insights to drive team improvements.
  • Support and guide user Acceptance Testing, defect tracking, and re-testing
