QUALIFICATIONS

• Business knowledge: A business analyst should have a good understanding of the industry in which the organization operates, as well as the specific products and services that the organization offers. They should also have a broad understanding of business processes and best practices.
• Technical knowledge: Business analysts should be familiar with various technologies and software programs that are used in the organization, as well as the technical aspects of the organization’s products and services.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, accounting, computer science, or a related field is often preferred. Desirable a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field.In addition to education and certifications, relevant experience in business analysis, project management, or a related field. Business analysts should also have strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organization.

• Gathering and analyzing data: A business analyst collects and analyzes data on various aspects of the organization’s operations, such as sales, marketing, customer service, and product development.
• Identifying areas for improvement: After analyzing the data, the business analyst identifies areas where the organization can improve its performance, such as streamlining processes, reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and improving customer satisfaction.
