Description:

We are eager to meet a Business Analyst who will contribute to the following project:
Garmin Xero Outdoor is our sportsman and tactical division, we are working with devices such as chronographs, auto-ranging bow sights, crossbow scopes and trapshooting trainers. Our mobile apps: connect to the device and exchange data with it; allow users to track, score and analyze their data; help users improve their game; show detailed statistics and have other various features depending on the device flavor.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrate proficient use and knowledge of engineering and project management tools.
  • Must demonstrate advanced understanding of business analysis principles/methodologies and possesses a demonstrated ability to adapt practices to meet business climate and needs.
  • Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting.
  • Demonstrate general knowledge and/or awareness of the following concepts: SQL Databases, client-server requests, HTTP Methods, APIs.
  • Experience in successful implementation of technology solutions.
  • Consistent demonstration of quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization.
  • Demonstrate a professional approach to situations in which conflict is present.
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, or another relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience and/or training.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Knowledge of human factors in UX design.
  • Experience with web based projects.
  • International communications experience.

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

In this role, you will gather, document and communicate user requirements for medium size projects of average complexity. Work closely with project team, including product owner to ensure requirements are understood and deliverables are aligned with project objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage user requirements for medium to large size projects of average to significant complexity for products across their strategic channel;
  • Identify both basic and ancillary discrepancies and conflicts in application(s) requirements;
  • Facilitate reconciliation of business tactical and strategic direction;
  • Work closely with project team;
  • Regularly suggest improvements to business processes;
  • Work with business stakeholders to determine application roadmap;
  • Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques;
  • Partner with product owner, stakeholders and product team in transforming product roadmaps into backlog stories;
  • Collaborate with QA team to define test cases and assist testing efforts;
