The Cúram team within Merative has more than 30 years of experience in streamlining and supporting the delivery and administration of social welfare across the world.
We are building a team in the Nordic region to deliver innovative solutions based on our industry’s leading social welfare product – Cúram - and looking for dedicated professionals who share our vision for the future.
As a Merative Project Manager you would apply and build your skills, working as part of an expert team, delivering large-scale implementations with national significance.

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience managing large scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget while ensuring alignment with our clients’ goals and objectives. This role requires the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the execution, monitoring, control, and closure of Merative projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Ensure project deliveries adhere to agreed terms and conditions, achieving the approved profit and loss thresholds.
- Managing project scope, cost, schedule, and quality to meet and exceed or expectations.
- Apply effective techniques for planning, tracking, change control, risk management and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and project resources including subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide regular status reports to senior management, escalating issues as necessary, and effectively communicate viable solutions to gain management support and approval.
- Provide day-to-day direction to the project team to maintain progress and achieve project milestones on schedule.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment across teams, motivating and supporting team members to contribute to a productive culture within the Merative organization.
- Mentor and inspire team members to reach their professional goals, contributing to their development and success at Merative.
- Develop comprehensive project proposals and accurate cost estimates to support new opportunities.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for customers and peers.
- Commit to continuous professional self-development by engaging with industry reports, learning resources, seminars, and participation in continuing education.
Required Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a software development environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing global teams in a multi-vendor, agile working environment.
- Strong track record of good judgment, decision-making and problem resolution.
- Proven experience of conflict resolution and negotiation, with a proven ability to navigate challenging situations effectively.
- Extensive experience managing client facing projects, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using project delivery software tools to manage and track project progress (such as MS Teams, Jira, Confluence… etc.)
- Familiarity with quality management systems to establish, implement, and manage processes that ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Experience working on Government projects or within FDA-regulated environments is preferred.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- PMP® and SCRUM or other recognized Project Management certification is preferred
Spoken Language Requirements
- Essential – Proficiency in both Finnish and English
- Preferred – Proficiency in Swedish and Sámi
