Job Description
Our Global Operations organisation is undergoing a significant transformation, with an ambitious change agenda to grow maturity and improve efficiency as we scale our business. We need an experienced process engineer to help us map current state of our processes, which can be complex and involve many different systems and touchpoints.
You will help improve operational maturity by documenting all our processes in a consistent way, using MS Visio to visualise and identify interdependencies and opportunities for efficiency. Then, identifying opportunities for automation and improved efficiency in line with business needs, you will design, test, and analyse improved processes and workflows. You will assess operational risk and ensure compliance with relevant legislation for payments providers, ensuring that we can meet our customers’ needs and provide excellent service.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, quickly forming relationships with subject matter experts across our global business. You will provide analysis and expert advice to senior stakeholders to help inform prioritisation decisions, with a pragmatic approach and the ability to get things done in a systematic way using project management discipline.
Responsibilities:
- Create, revise, and manage detailed process documentation, collaborating across teams
- Work with subject matter experts to map processes within our operations organisation
- Development of best practices and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and quality
- Identify processes that could be streamlined or automated, scope potential solutions and implement where required
- Propose, design and test new processes to improve productivity in line with industry best practice
- Gather and interpret data to analyse efficiency and performance to enable data-led decisions
- Identify opportunities for standardisation across our various locations and business lines
- Perform process simulations to predict and improve performance, feeding assessment into business case for prioritisation
- Develop standards for documenting and maintaining process maps and operating procedures
- Maintain detailed process documentation and version control, feeding inputs into the Learning and Development team
- Assess risk and ensure compliance with relevant standards for legislative requirements (e.g. FCA, GDPR) and quality control
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in MS Visio or similar process mapping software
- Knowledge of customer service/contact centre operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certified
- Experience working with Robotic Process Automation and/or Artificial Intelligence
- Able to work with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels and across various locations and time zones
- Able to exercise discretion and judgement
- Experience with AWS/Salesforce solutions for contact centre
- Experience with quality assurance, training, or change management
