JOB DESCRIPTION

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Strategic Partnerships team within the Business Banking Segment. The role will play a critical part in the successful evaluation, execution and ongoing performance of strategic and fintech partnerships that strengthen U.S. Bank’s value proposition for its business clients.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Comprehensive knowledge of assigned business line or functional area
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of project management
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and coordinate workstreams with cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of partnership initiatives
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and track initiative progress against objectives and timelines
  • Communicate clearly and effectively while demonstrating professionalism and building credibility as a key team member interacting with external partners
  • Assist in the development of business cases and presentation materials for senior-level stakeholder review and support
  • Support the alignment of partnership priorities with ongoing business line objectives and product roadmaps
  • Establish and maintain processes to monitor partnerships performance, ensuring alignment to key performance indicators (KPIs) and risk governance
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform partnership strategies and assess potential partners across banking, payments, and SMB software

THE ROLE OFFERS A HYBRID/FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, WHICH MEANS THERE’S AN IN-OFFICE EXPECTATION OF 3 OR MORE DAYS PER WEEK AND THE FLEXIBILITY TO WORK OUTSIDE THE OFFICE LOCATION FOR THE OTHER DAYS.
