Job title: Business Change Manager
Location: Wayside House, Wilsons Lane, Coventry, West Midlands, CV6 6NY
This role is hybrid but will be mainly based on various sites visiting teams to map current processes across the Trust.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of Health Service Management including change management and redesign, acquired through training and experience to Master’s level equivalent.
  • Experience in senior administrative, operational or clinical role within healthcare.
  • Managing business processes to make sure the organisation delivers outputs that meet customers’ needs and stakeholders’ needs, and organisational and legal requirements.

    Pay: £23.52 per hour
    Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Responsibilities:

  • To work as the Clinical Systems Projects Business Partner for the Operational Directorate with a formal link to the Directorates SMTs, working as the bridge for operations teams to the PMO to ensure seamless delivery of the Clinical Systems Project.
  • Managing the interface between change programmes and operations in liaison with the Project Manager to secure the delivery of programme outcomes and realisation of benefits within a Business Partner Model working closely with the Directorate of Operations SMT.
  • Managing and Directing Business Change in the development of revised business processes resulting from the introduction of a new trust-wide clinical system and the impact on operational areas and provide solutions
  • To maintain operational stability during the transition process. Ensuring the business continues to operate efficiently during a period of major change.
  • Agreeing benefits and managing benefits realisation responsible to the Project Team for ensuring that programme benefits are realised.
  • Supporting Operations Managers, Senior Clinician and Operational staff in the definition of benefits and development of a benefits model, testing benefit assumptions and defining appropriate measures to assess benefits realisation.
  • Undertaking regular reviews with Project Steering Group, Project Managers and Workstream leads to assess the benefits and disadvantages arising in the course of programme
  • Managing the transition of change in the business, working with operational managers to embed changes within the business.
  • Providing advice and guidance to Project and operational teams in identifying what changes in processes, procedures and practices are needed to achieve change and deliver the planned benefits and providing authoritative confirmation that the proposed changes were suitable and achievable.
  • Visiting work places to meet staff and user groups to discuss change issues and encourage and motivate them to embrace the change and realise the benefits.
  • Assessing management information reports, identifying risks and issues and briefing senior managers on major implications for the clinical system project.
  • Assisting with the management of business and change resource utilisation across the programme.
  • Liaison with Senior Operations and clinical Managers to bring perspective to business change and develop a partnership approach to achieve targets.
