Compensation: Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32/hour)

  About the Job:
  We are seeking a talented Business Communications Specialist Intern to join our dynamic team and support our executive leadership and team leaders. This role will be pivotal in shaping and delivering our internal and external communications strategies, ensuring clear, effective, and consistent messaging across all channels. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills, capable of managing multiple projects and engaging with diverse stakeholders

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company’s goals and values.
• Collaborate with the executive team to create, review, and refine communications, including speeches, presentations, and internal announcements.
• Write, edit, and proofread various communication materials, such as emails, newsletters, reports, and press releases.
• Facilitate effective communication between executive team leaders and team leaders, ensuring that key messages are clearly conveyed and understood.
• Develop and execute crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels and materials, maintaining the integrity of the brand voice.
• Gather feedback from stakeholders and continuously improve communication processes and materials.
• Provide training and guidance to team leaders on effective communication practices.
