Business Controller

Are you an experienced financial professional ready to take on a pivotal role in a global tech company? We’re looking for a dynamic Business Controller to join our team and play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting business decisions.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT:

• You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You bring at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a SaaS-company
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you are proactive, and ready to tackle challenges.
• You’re skilled with financial tools; Netsuite experience is a huge plus. You are also an Excel expert and comfortable with other MS tools.
• You have good data visualization skills.
• You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• You’re detail-oriented but never lose sight of the big picture.
• You have a solid understanding of financial reporting standards and Finnish accounting principles
• You’re fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  This role offers hybrid working. Rest of our team is based in Oulu, but you can work from any of our offices in Espoo, Tampere, or Oulu. As part of our global team, you’ll need to be open to work late afternoons regularly to collaborate across time zones.

• Creating and automating reporting systems and processes, including SaaS-specific KPIs.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, as well as ad-hoc analyses to support strategic planning.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially Sales, to transform financial data into actionable insights.
• Analyzing trends and performance metrics to spot trends, identify opportunities and suggest improvements.
• Streamlining and optimizing financial tools and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Acting as the primary expert for financial systems, including NetSuite.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment with financial goals.

Reporting directly to our CFO, Paula Keski-Oja, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our financial strategies and align them with our global business goals.
